Elijah Fox Cook : ウィキペディア英語版 | Elijah Fox Cook Elijah Fox Cook (December 3, 1805 - October 8, 1886) was an American lawyer and politician. Born in Palatine, New York, Cook moved to Oakland County, Michigan Territory in 1831. He was admitted to the Michigan bar and practiced law in Farmington, Michigan and Pontiac, Michigan. He served on the first Michigan Constitutional Convention. He served in the Michigan State Senate in 1837 and 1838. In 1847, Cook moved to Sheboygan, Wisconsin and practiced law. He served in the Wisconsin State Senate in 1857 and 1858. He moved to La Crosse, Wisconsin and then to Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
